Inserting a waypoint in an auto-route

Additional waypoints can be inserted into an auto-route so that the caution areas can be avoided.

From the Auto-route-review menu:

  1. Select and hold on the route leg that you wish to add the waypoint to.
  2. Select the Insert waypoint option from the context menu.
  3. Move the cursor to the location where you want to place the new waypoint.
  4. Select the Save button.
Important

You must ensure that the new waypoint location is safe to navigate. When a waypoint is inserted, the system assumes the location is safe and removes the caution symbol.
