Camera not shown under the multifunction display network list:

IP cameras can take up to 60 seconds to appear on a network. Ensure that you have waited a sufficient amount of time before attempting the troubleshooting actions listed below.

  • Ensure that the camera is connected to the multifunction display in accordance with the supplied instructions.

  • Ensure that the camera is correctly powered on.

  • Ensure that your chartplotter and camera are physically connected to the same network.

  • Ensure that your chartplotter is running the latest software version.

  • Try power cycling the camera while leaving your chartplotter powered.

  • Ensure that the camera’s IP-network parameters have been configured correctly via the Web browser user interface.

Camera shown under the multifunction display network list, but no video is displayed:

A single CAM400 video feed can be displayed on a maximum of 10 compatible Raymarine multifunction displays at the same time (via each display’s Video app).

  • Using the Video application on your chartplotter, cycle through the available camera feeds to see if the camera image is displayed.

  • Ensure that the video codec option selected in the camera’s Web browser user interface is supported by your multifunction display.

Cannot find the camera’s IP address (PC connection):

  • Ensure any VPN software installed on your PC is disabled.
