Power options

The camera supports two power options.

Power connectionsPower optionsIt is recommended that the product is powered using only one of the following power options:

	Description
1	Dedicated power connection Connection to a vessel’s 12 V dc power supply using the camera’s dedicated power cable. For more information, refer to: Dedicated power connection The dedicated power cable requires wire stripping if it is going to be used.
2	Power over Ethernet (PoE): Connection to Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) (e.g. a PoE Injector or a PoE network switch), using the camera’s RayNet (Ethernet) connection. A single network connection carries both data signals and power. For more information, refer to: Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Dedicated power connection

The dedicated power cable requires wire stripping if it is going to be used.
