Camera cable connections

An overview of the camera’s cable connections.

The CAM400 is supplied with a 1.47 m (4.82 ft) fitted cable that includes the following connections:

Factory reset switch

  • Pressing this switch will reset the camera and any user settings to the factory default settings. Only use this switch if you encounter issues with the operation of the camera that cannot be resolved using the provided troubleshooting information: Troubleshooting

  • The protective cap must remain fitted at all times when the factory reset switch is not in use.

RayNet (male) connector

  • This connection is used to stream video from the camera and can also be used to power the camera, when connected to Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE).

12 V dc power cable

This connection is used to provide the camera its own dedicated 12 V dc power supply. The power cable is supplied with insulation fitted.

Use this connection if you are not powering the camera via PoE.
