Engaging the autopilot — Locked heading (Auto)

AutopilotEngagingLocked headingFor Wheel and Tiller pilots, ensure that the mechanical drive is engaged by either engaging the wheel drive’s clutch or attaching the pushrod onto the tiller pin.

  1. Select the Pilot icon to open the Pilot sidebar.
  2. Select Steer to Hdg.
  3. Select Engage pilot.

Locked heading (Auto) mode can also be engaged using the physical Pilot button on an Axiom Pro, Axiom 2 Pro or a RMK-Series keypad.
