Mixed system warnings
Axiom 2-Series chartplotters will detect and provide warnings when an unsupported or incompatible system is detected.
Failure to resolve an unsupported system or an incompatible system can cause instability and poor system performance.

An unsupported system is a system that contains first generation Axiom-Series chartplotters running the LightHouse 4 operating system on the same network as second generation Axiom 2-Series chartplotters running the LightHouse 5 operating system.
The table below identifies first generation and second generation chartplotters:

An unsupported system can be corrected by removing all first generation chartplotters, or all second generation chartplotters from the network. Alternatively, you may be able to downgrade the second generation chartplotters to match the first generation chartplotter’s software version.
First generation Axiom-Series chartplotters cannot be upgraded to LightHouse 5.
Axiom 2 chartplotters cannot be downgraded to software versions below v4.11.110.
Axiom 2 XL chartplotters cannot be downgraded to software versions below v4.4.87.
Axiom 2 Pro chartplotters cannot be downgraded to software versions below v4.3.54.
Unsupported system warnings will be accompanied by Incompatible system warnings.
Incompatible system warnings
Incompatible systemWarningsIncompatible systemWhen an incompatible system is detected, a warning notification is displayed and a warning will continuously flash at the top of the screen until the issue is resolved.
An incompatible system is a system that contains chartplotters running different versions of the LightHouse operating system.
Unless the system is also an unsupported system, it may be possible to resolve the incompatibility by upgrading all chartplotters to the same software version.
