Auto-route troubleshooting
For successful automatic route generation there are certain pre-requisites that must be met.
Auto-routeTroubleshootingIf generating an auto route fails check the following:
Ensure that your cartography supports auto routing.
Check with your cartography vendor, if an active subscription is required.
Check you have the latest updates for your cartography.
Ensure that you have correctly configured your minimum safe distances: Min safe depth and Min safe height.
Ensure that your vessel’s current position (GPS) is valid. You cannot generate an auto route if your current position conflicts with your minimum safe distances.
Ensure that your selected destination does not conflict with your minimum safe distances. You cannot generate an auto route if the desired destination conflicts with your minimum safe distances.
Ensure that navigation to the desired destination is possible.
The resulting route should be less than 100 nautical miles in length.
The resulting route should contain less than 250 waypoints.
Ensure that your chartplotter has the latest version of LightHouse.
