ECO mode

ECO mode provides an indication within Dashboard app engine dials that highlights when the engines are being driven efficiently. ECO mode is available when Yanmar (Evene) has been selected as the engine manufacturer in the Boat details settings menu, or when an engine transmits an ECO flag using a supported PGN.

ECO modeYanmar (Evene)ECO modeYanmar (Evene) ECO mode is determined by data received from the engine(s). For “other” engine manufacturers ECO mode is determined by a PGN transmitted from the engine.

The following types of ECO mode indication are available:

  • Animated — For Yanmar (Evene) animated graphics are enabled by default.

  • Static — For “other” engine manufacturers static graphics are enabled by default.

You can switch between Static and Animated graphics using the engine dial pop-over menu.

Animated ECO graphics

Animated graphics have 3 states:

  1. Normal — The engine dial will appear in its normal state.

  2. ECO mode — The animated turtle graphic will be displayed.

  3. High (Thirsty) — The engine dial will glow red.

Static ECO graphic

The static ECO graphic displays “ECO” within the engine dial when in ECO mode.
