SeaTalk NG connection

The Master module must be connected to a chartplotter (MFD) via a SeaTalk NG backbone. Remote modules must be connected to the Master module via the same SeaTalk NG backbone. Depending on the complexity of the system, the SeaTalk NG backbone may need to be a dedicated backbone for your YachtSense DCS-Series Digital Control System.

For simplicity, the example above shows a SeaTalk NG network dedicated to YachtSense DCS-Series Digital Control System, however other SeaTalk NG devices can be connected.

The illustration above shows only the dedicated power supply for the SeaTalk NG network. Additionally, the chartplotter (MFD) and each Master system and Remote system require their own power supplies.
