Equipment connections

Equipment is connected to the network switch using either a RayNet cable, a RayNet to RJ45 adapter cable, or a RJ45 (SeaTalk HS) adapter cable.

The following section provides examples of 3 different connection scenarios that may be applicable when connecting your equipment to the RNS-5 Network Switch:

1. Connection to equipment featuring RayNet connectors: RayNet cable connections

2. Connection to equipment featuring RJ45 (SeaTalk HS) connectors: RJ45 (SeaTalk HS) cable connections

3. Connection to equipment featuring RJ45 connectors: RJ45 cable connections
