Making transducer connections

Follow the steps listed below to connect the transducer cables to your iTC-5 converter:

Connecting transducer cables

  1. Ensure power supply is switched off.
  2. Crimp / solder 1/8th (4 mm (0.16 in)) female spade terminals to the end of each wire on the transducer cable, ensuring that no wire is exposed.
  3. Unscrew the cover retention screw.
  4. Remove the cover.
  5. Connect spade terminals as shown in the following section: Transducer connections
  6. Ensure spade terminals are fully pushed home and that terminals do not touch.
  7. Secure each cables into its respective run / channel.
  8. Refit the cover and re-tighten the cover retention screw.
  9. Switch on the power supply.
