The CAM400 is an infrared illuminated (I2) eyeball digital IP camera with both day and night vision. In conjunction with a compatible chartplotter or display, the camera provides a high-definition image which can be viewed or recorded for later playback.

Note

  • A single CAM400 video feed can be displayed on a maximum of 10 compatible Raymarine chartplotters at the same time (via each display’s Video app).

  • The video streams of up to 4 CAM400 cameras can be displayed simultaneously on a single compatible Raymarine chartplotter.

The camera includes the following features:

  • 2.07 megapixel 1/2.8” progressive scan CMOS image sensor.

  • 2.58 mm fixed lens

  • Field Of View:

    • Horizontal FOV: 129.4°

    • Vertical FOV: 69.9°

    • Diagonal FOV: 153.6°

  • 10 m (32.8 ft.) I2 (infrared) beam emitter distance.

  • Multi-streaming of H.264 and MJPEG video.

  • Supports image resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 pixels.

  • Image flip function, for ball-up (upright), or ball-down (upside-down) installation.

  • Image invert function, for reverse video applications (e.g. camera pointing in the opposite direction to the vessel).

  • Mechanical IR cutout filter for true day / night operation.

  • Supports augmented reality features, when used in conjunction with an AR200 sensor and a compatible Raymarine chartplotter.

  • Waterproof protection to IPx6 / IPx7 (suitable for above or below decks installation).

  • Supports 2 power options — Class 2 Power over Ethernet (PoE) @ 48 V nominal supply voltage, or 12 V dc nominal supply voltage via the dedicated power connection.
