Battery disposal

Consumers in European Union (EU) Member State regions are required to dispose of the battery (or batteries) included with this product in accordance with the EU Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).

Battery disposalThe Battery Directive requires the proper waste management of batteries, including their recycling, collection, take-back programs, and disposal. The purpose of the Directive is to ensure the appropriate management of waste batteries which contain materials and chemicals that may be hazardous and present a risk to human health and / or the environment, when not handled correctly.
