Compatible Yamaha® gateways

The following Yamaha® supplied gateways are compatible with the chartplotter’s Yamaha app and / or Yamaha HDMI app:

Vessels with electric steering

  • The Yamaha app is compatible with Yamaha Command Link and Command Link Pro when connected to the chartplotter via a Yamaha® NMEA 2000 gateway or CL7 gauge.

  • Yamaha HDMIThe Yamaha HDMI app is compatible with Yamaha Command Link and Command Link Pro when connected to the chartplotter via a Yamaha® Helm Master EX 6YG gateway and MFD interface (MFDI).

Vessels with no electric steering

If the vessel does not have electric steering then the following gateway is compatible:

  • 6YG-8A2D0-11-00 Command link gateway — Gateway is required for vessels with no electric steering.

Vessels with electric steering and a CL screen

If the vessel has electric steering and a CL screen, the following gateways are compatible:

  • CL7 screen — The CL7 screen acts as the gateway.

  • CL5 screen and 6YG-8A2D0-11-00 Command link gateway — CL5 screens require a compatible gateway.

Vessels with no CL screen

For vessels with no CL screen the following gateway kit is compatible:

  • 6YM-762G0-54-00 — This includes both gateways: 6YG-8A2D0-11-00 Command link gateway, and the 6YM-8A201-00-00 HDMI gateway.

The HDMI gateway ( 6YM-8A201-00-00 ) provides a video feed, and the 6YG-8A2D0-11-00 Command Link gateway provides data. The Yamaha remote is also required for these installations.
