Power connection

The power for the radio is provided directly by a 12 V power source.

The radio should be connected as shown below:

  1. Radio’s fitted power cable.

  2. 12 V dc power source (i.e.: Distribution panel).

  3. Waterproof fuse holder containing a suitably-rated inline fuse (Supplied), which must be fitted to the red positive wire — refer to the fuse ratings below.

  4. Suitable waterproof connection (Radio is supplied with bullet crimps on power supply wires.)

  5. Power supply positive (+) Red wire

  6. Power supply negative (-) Black wire.

  7. If, required you can extend the power cable supplied with your radio, using suitably rated cabling.
